Please note that for mid-career hires, due to the increasing number of international projects, practical experience using English is a mandatory requirement.

Work style and benefits

・You will mainly be in charge of cases handled by lawyers belonging to our firm. The lawyers in charge of your case will not be fixed, and you will have the opportunity to work with all the lawyers in our firm.
For the first two years after joining the firm, we would like you to come in as much as possible and work in the office, as we want to directly discuss and exchange opinions on industry practices and frequently occurring legal issues related to each industry. If there are extenuating circumstances such as family matters, illness, or the need for further training, we can flexibly accommodate temporary remote work. After gaining experience, you can flexibly switch between remote and in-person work.
For new graduates, we offer a fixed salary for the first and second years. We are considering an annual salary of 6 million yen plus bonuses for the first year, and a base annual salary of 6.5 million yen plus bonuses for the second year.
For mid-career hires with less than four years of legal experience, a fixed salary will be determined through discussion, based on years of experience, for the first year only.
- From the third year after joining as a new graduate, and from the second year after joining as a mid-career hire, compensation will be based entirely on working hours. The guideline for working hours is approximately 100 to 200 hours per month, but this will vary depending on the individual lawyer's circumstances and the status of the cases. Based on past performance, it is estimated that monthly earnings will generally range from 1 million to 3 million yen, depending on the years of experience.
• The office space will be a free-address system.
・We provide a full range of reference materials and business support services.

[Personal case]

・You are free to take on your own personal cases in addition to the cases handled by the firm, as long as there are no conflicts. For personal cases, you will be required to pay 30% of the fee as firm expenses.
・Of course, you can consult with or seek opinions from other lawyers regarding how to proceed with your personal case and its prospects.
- It is possible to request the secretariat to handle administrative work for personal cases (assistance with preparing documents, preparing and sending invoices, etc.), and it is also possible to use office facilities such as conference rooms for personal cases.

This is a service contract (not an employment contract).

[Bar association fees and other expenses]

Bar association fees: Self-funded

Attorney's professional liability insurance: Covered by the firm.
