KOMATSU Junya
After registering as an attorney, he worked in the litigation team at Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu, focusing on dispute resolution and litigation. In 2015, he studied abroad at Fordham Law School in New York. After returning to Japan, he established the Mimura Komatsu Law Office, where he used his knowledge of strategic law and law to support businesses as a legal director and corporate CLO, as well as launching incorporated associations and lobbying.
He has served as an auditor for the Japan CTO Association (general incorporated association), a director for the Cultural Industries Promotion Association (general incorporated association), a selection committee member or judge for various projects for the Agency for Cultural Affairs (projects to develop young filmmakers, project to promote Japanese films overseas, project to promote the development of media arts collaboration infrastructure, project to preserve and utilize intermediate results such as manga and anime), and a special lecturer at Shinshu University.
Shinnosuke Nitta
In addition to working extensively in the field of dispute resolution, primarily in insurance and damages litigation, she also specializes in legal matters relating to the creative industries, including jewelry, watches, and fashion. As a certified Jewelry Coordinator Level 1 and Gemological Institute of America (GIA-AJP), she provides practical legal support based on the structure and practices of the industry.
Part-time lecturer at Hiko Mizuno Jewelry College and Yamawaki College of Art.
TANABE Kotaro
As a fan of anime, manga, and games, he mainly handles intellectual property law (patents, copyrights, trademarks, etc.) focusing on various legal issues in the character business field (anime, manga, games, distribution services, VTubers, metaverse, generative AI, etc.) and the video business field (movies, entertainment, music, advertising, etc.). In parallel with his work as a lawyer, he also works as a part-time assistant counselor at the Cabinet Office Intellectual Property Strategy Promotion Office, where he is mainly involved in work related to intellectual property rights and AI, as well as anti-piracy measures.
He is an auditor at the Japan Voice AI Learning Data Authentication Service Organization (AILAS), a general incorporated association, and heads "Character-Business and Law," a legal consultation service for people involved in the character business.
MIYAZAWA Masashi
With a focus on litigation and disputes, we handle a wide range of areas, including intellectual property (copyright and patent rights), bankruptcy, labor, venture support, and personal inheritance and divorce cases.
Member of the Tokyo Bar Association Legal Training Committee. Lecturer at Tokyo Dance, Acting & Performing Arts College (Copyright).
